Education
- District received the Distinction in Performance Award by the State of Missouri, with a
perfect score for four consecutive years, 2007–2010.
Valley Park Middle School received the 2008 National School of Character Award & the
2008 Missouri School of Character Award.
- U.S. News & World Report Magazine recently named Valley Park High School one
of "America's Best High Schools" for second consecutive year - 2008 & 2009.
- In 2008, Valley Park High School was listed in the Top Ten Highest Performing Schools in
all three subject areas in which students were tested by the State of Missouri for the
Missouri Assessment Program: Science, Math and Communication Arts.
- The Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education listed Valley Park
as the only school district in St. Louis County to meet Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in
each of its schools in 2010.
